Baked oats, No dairy or oil
Baked oats is doing the rounds in Tiktok and Instagram. So I thought I would give it a go.
The constituents...
Rolled oats - 1 cup
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Banana - 1
Dates, pitted - 3
Salt - a smidgeon
Almond milk - 1/2 cup
Raisins - a few
Sunflower seeds - a little
Grind oats to a powder. Slice banana into small pieces. Throw in baking powder, banana, dates, salt and almond milk into the grinder jar along with the oats.
Blitz for a few seconds so that everything is blended well.
Line a baking dish with baking paper. Spoon in the oats dough into the baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins and sunflower seeds.
Preheat oven to 180C. Bake for 25 minutes.
Serve with a drizzle of grated coconut. Relish it warm.
