Roasted baby potatoes and green gram with spring onions

Her youngest, Ellie is preparing for her GCSE exams and requests for mom for a math tutor. Noelly tutors her at home every Tuesday. After a few classes, Ellie finds Noelly asking her wierd questions and finds her creepy. She gives an excuse to her mom that she is aceing Math now and do not need Noellys classes. Laurel calls Noelly and informs her. Then after a few days, just before her GCSE exams, Ellie goes missing and there are no traces. Laurel is a heartbroken mother and the disappearance of Ellie pulls the family apart, everybody going in different direction. Forward ten years and Ellie's bones are found in the woods. So somehow there is a closure to the case. Later, Laurel meets a man called Floyd . They become more than friends. She meets Poppy, Floyd's daughter, who has a striking resemblance to her Ellie. Back to the magic ingredients for roasted potatoes..

Baby potatoes -250g

Rock salt, crushed - a pinch

Pepper - a pinch

Olive oil - 1/2 tsp

Scrub off the dirt from the skin of the potatoes. Pressure cook with water until just soft. Peel off the skin. Warm a saucepan and add oil. Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Stir. Saute until they become lightly browned and crisp.

The secret recipe for green gram is..

Green gram - 1 cup

Rock salt, crushed - 1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder - a pinch

Spring onion - 1 with leaves

Ginger - 1"

Green chili - 1

Olive oil - 1 tsp

Soak green gram overnight. Drain. Pressure cook with water until just soft. Heat a saucepan with oil. Add chopped onions, minced ginger and slit chili. Saute for a few minutes. Add salt and turmeric. Stir. Add cooked green gram. Stir to mix well. Add chopped spring onion leaves and stir.

Serve roasted potatoes with hot green gram.
