King fish fry, Kerala style

 King fish or seer fish is called neymeen in malayalam. So the fry is called neymeen varathathu.  The marination requires


Salt - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 1/4 ts
Dry ginger powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper - 1/4 tsp


Rub the marinade on the cleaned fish and refrigerate for a couple of hours. 
Heat a flat saucepan and drizzle olive oil. Shallow fry until both sides are lightly browned.
