Black and white channa stir fry

Have some fun with food with a mishmash of white and black chickpeas. Looks and tastes different, but extremely easy to prepare once you have soaked and cooked the chickpeas. 

The building blocks are...
White chickpeas - 1/2 cup
Black chickpeas - 1/2 cup

                                                                    Coconut oil - 2 tsp
                                                                    Cumin seeds - a soupcon
Onion - 2
Garlic - 3 cloves
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Curry leaf - a sprig
Salt - 1/4 tsp
The process..
Soak chickpeas and black chickpeas separately for 8 hours with 2 to 3 changes of water. Pressure cook them separately in water with a smidge of salt. Drain excess water using a colander and combine both.
Slice onion into thin slices. Mince ginger and garlic. Pick leaves from the curry leaf twig.
Heat up a saucepan and drizzle oil. Throw in cumin seeds, ginger, garlic and curry leaves. After a minute, cast in onions. Sautee until soft. Add in salt, white and black chickpeas. Stir to intermingle. Enjoy with quinoa.
