Fish Curry

Its been a long time since I wrote in my blog. My mother is with me for the summer; so the next set of recipes are her contribution. Fish is a good source of Omega 3 and this dish is a curry based recipe. The ingredients you will need are... Sardines - 250 gms Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Coriander powder- 1 tsp Fenuegreek powder- a pinch Pepper powder - a pinch Mustard powder - a pinch Ginger - 1 inch, roughly chopped Garlic - 2 cloves, roughly chopped Onion - 1 medium size, chopped Curry leaves - a few Tamarind - a fistful Salt - to taste Olive oil - 1 tbsp Turmeric powder - a pinch This unassuming little fish is named after the island of Sardinia. Sardines are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, which can help maintain a healthy heart. They are rich in calcium, vitamin D. Wash the fish in salty water. Place a frying pan on medium heat.
